Grant Programs
As a local fund, BCIF pays particular attention to the development of different Grant Programs, by which we encourage people to think about their principal problems in their communities, and to find a way for their solution, bearing in mind resources available to them. Basic directions of donation programs are:
Citizen’s activism
Active Communities – Unlimited number of topics, designed for local initiatives which center around solving of particular citizen’s problems in their communities
Centrifuga/Centrifuge – Provides donations to youth groups for projects which launch cultural content for the young in their communities
We are on-line – Grant program with an education component, which is directed at the youth and the usage of new media, social networks and information technologies as the means to encourageactivism in the community.
We Are in Program – Program dedicated to encouraging youth groups to develop local media projects
Services
Social Transition – Program for the development of social services aimed at sensitive community groups
It Takes Two – The program provides support to civil society organizations for the implementation of Buddy project model in the work with the persons with disabilities, primarily the youth and the children. The model consists of the maintaining of volunteer support for the social inclusion of the young and children with disabilities
Participation in decision making
Advanced Community Advocacy Program – Provides trainings and consultations for organizations to accomplish public representations’ concrete initiatives on local level
