New Executive Director of BCIF

Starting on June, 1st, 2010, Miodrag Shrestha will perform the function of Executive Director of BCIF.

Miodrag Shrestha was Executive Director of 484 Group from October, 2006 to May, 2010. From December, 2002 he was employed at 484 Group, where he worked as a Researcher, Project Coordinator, Program Coordinator and Chief of Team for Creating Social Measures and Policies. Prior to the work in 484 Group, he worked at Belgrade Open School (in 1999), and for pre-election OEBS’ Mission in Serbia and Montenegro (1997 – 2003). He is a member of European Integration Council of the Government of Republic of Serbia since November, 2008. He is a sociologist by vocation. He participated in numerous researches conducted by Institute for Sociological research, Faculty of Philosophy and 484 Group as author and coauthor of 484 Group’s publications, we well as articles and professional texts. He has a rich experience in fundraising, strategic management of civil society organizations and in cooperation with various social participants (recipients, civil society organizations, state organs, donors). Miodrag lives in Belgrade, he is married and has two children.
