Competition winners
Youth Initiative of Kikinda is launching a theater festival on which the participants will use the forum theater form. Themes of plays will revolve around contemporaries’ violence which is present among the youth in Kikinda to a large extent. Workshop for the young is also planned.
Sports Society for Children and Youths with special needs „Palestra“ from Kruševac is staging a musical entitled „Wonderland“, as a mutual project of the young and the disabled youths, with help and support from famous actors of Kruševac.
Informal group „Planet film“ from Požega through the form of VJing as a contemporary way of communication and promotion of ideas aimed at the young, wishes to bring focus to the problem of ever-increasing influence of low – grade programs and contents which are being served to the young by mass media, and which with the goal of increasing profit often breach the borders of taste and moral. The group will promote this new way of contemporary expression on all the most frequent places in town.
Creativia“ from Kikinda , which was also supported in the scope of last year’s competition „Centrifuga“, realizes a project which has a goal to encourage young alternative artists – muralists, photographers, designers and other artists, which would through this project get a chance to show their art to the entire community, and that by painting murals on the walls throughout town, by a public exhibition of stickers, labels and photos, as well by creative workshops, and all that with the consent from the city’s institutions in charge.
Cultural Centre „Lift“ from Čačak is engaged on raising the level of cultural consciousness, encouragement of critical thinking and cultural creativity, foremost of the young, as well as in their more active participation in the creation of a modern city. The affirmation of that idea will be realized through organization of Cultural creativity festival „Kreativ 10“. The project starts by competition announcement on „Lift“ web site, in the fields of graffiti drawing, short story, monodrama and video directing of a chosen song. After the completion of competition, the jury selects the best works from every one of the mentioned fields, whose authors will present their work on festival day on scheduled locations in town.
Strengthening Centre „24“ from Požarevac has come up with a manifestation entitled „Art days – Tolerance days“, which should enable the young to add to the creation of tolerant surroundings by their own art expression, with respecting the differences that exist between them. The project is based on the methodologies of „Theater of the Afflicted“ and „Live Library“, the development of techniques of nonviolent communication, and active overcoming of problems by facing the stereotypes and prejudices in a creative and innovative way.
Art group „Crna mrlja“ from Valjevo wishes to create a wall comic (mural), which will be placed by portable boards on the facade of Cultural Centre of Valjevo. Bearing in mind that the idea of wall comics has not been realized in Serbia and in the Balkans before, a considerable step in the realm of the ninth art would be made by this project. Furthermore, along with mural painting, in the scope of project are also planned demo band concert, exhibition of drawings, comic and illustration of young authors, as well as projection of video materials related to comics, cartoons and mural painting.
