Study Trip – Advocacy for Better Policy on Waste Management
Within the scope of People 2 People (P2P) TACSO office in Serbia program (Technical Assistance for Civil Society Organization program), a call has been made for expression of interest for participation of representatives of civil society organizations in a study trip entitled »Advocacy for better policy on waste management« which will be held on February 1st – 4th 2011 in Brussels.
The goal of the study trip is to get acquainted with European policies and programs in line with waste management policy, and ecological policy in general. The goal is also to provide the participants with an opportunity for mutual exchange of knowledge and experience, as well as with an opportunity for the participants to network, both between themselves, but also with the representatives of civil society organizations on the level of the EU and member countries which are active in that field. The participants will be presented with the national and if possible regional activities in that field.|
Four representatives of civil society organizations from Serbia will be chosen by the EU Delegation in Serbia for participation in this study trip. During the process of selection, an attention will be paid so that organizations from different parts of Serbia may be represented, and preference will be given to the organizations' representatives which work on the subject in question, and which have limited experiences in cooperation with the EU, and who may benefit most from this trip.
The applicants should particularly pay attention to the fact that working knowledge of English language is necessary in order to participate, since the visit program will be held in English.
We would like to ask the applicants to send the following documents in English until December, 15 2010 until 5PM at the latest:
• expression of interest (in a free form, with a proposal in line with how you plan to pass the knowledge acquired onto other organizations),
• application form for participants,
• CV in the EU format
• References (which are not mandatory, but will be considered as an advantage)
by e-mail exclusively at p2p.rs@tacso.org
Applications sent to other addresses and after deadline expiration will not be considered.
