Technical Support to The Organizations– Fundraising from Local Sources Program

Within the scope of Fundraising from local sources program, the decision was made to distribute the financial means in the amount of 630 euros as a technical support to the following nine organizations: Center for Creative Development (Knjaževac), Association for the development of Creativity (Aleksinac), The White Birch (Kruševac), Q Club and ApsArt (Belgrade), The Good People (Valjevo), The Rainbow (Šabac), The Cobra (Donja Trnava) and Green Road signs (Raška).

Within the scope of this program, during 2010 fifteen organizations in total have gone through the trainings on strategic planning process, project management and finances, as well as on fundraising from enterprises and individuals.  They then worked on the creation of the strategic plans for their organizations, as well as on the fundraising plan, that is on designing the action for which the means would be raised in their community.  In the opinion of BCIF and the project consultant team, nine organizations which were mentioned hadthe best documents, which enabled them to enter the next phase of the program.  During this year the organizations will try to maintain partnerships with the local entrepreneurs, as well as with the citizens – individual donors and to raise the financial means planned, while BCIF will provide them with the donations in the amount of the financial means raised – the means will be duplicated.

Fundraising from local sources program is being implemented by BCIF with support from VIA Foundation from Czech Republic, within Promotion of Transition program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
