New Deadline for Submitting Project Proposals Within March Round of Active Communities Program

Balkan Community Initiatives Fund’s (BCIF) competition for Active Communities program is in progress.

Local societies and informal groups of citizens from Serbia with the maximum budget amount of up to 350.000,00 dinars may apply for Active Communities program.

The initiatives should refer to the local community, should encourage the active participation of the citizens and bring the general welfare to the local community, by using local potentials and resources, as well as cooperation with other sectors on the local level.  The program is not thematically limited, so project proposals may refer to the most diverse topics: environment protection, the children and the youth, citizen’s participation in decision making process, support to the vulnerable groups and their inclusion etc.

The principal goal of Active Communitiesprogram is the improvement and development of the local communities in Serbia, by encouraging active citizen’s participation in problem solving.

New deadline for submitting project proposals is
March, 14th, 2011 until 5 PM
