Social event in Subotica to Mark the End of the Action “Penny is not Petty”

The final event of the campaign “Penny is not Petty” will be held on Saturday, 28th May in Subotica, the town in which, due to the initiative of the Moonlight Foundation, the idea of evening clubs for socially excluded children was realized. The former idea and a dream, with lots of hard work and efforts, has been turned into ten successful clubs for children in three towns - Subotica, Novi Becej and Gornji Milanovac. With their support, kind citizens of Serbia and friends of the action “Penny is not Petty” became part of this success story, donating money during the campaign via bank account, SMS and donor boxes. All raised funds will be used for purchasing equipment for Moonlight clubs.

As part of the final Action of the campaign, three workshops for children will be organized, on health, fair play, as well as drama workshop, in the Primary School “Kizur Istvan”, in premises of the club “Moonlight 4. Volunteers from the company Ernst & Young and representatives of Moonlight Foundation and the Balkan Fund for Local Initiatives will participate in workshops and socialize with the children.
