Promotion of “Goodness” Program in Kragujevac on July, 5th

National Lottery of Serbia, in cooperation with Balkan Community Initiatives Fund, is announcing the fourth “Goodness” competition, by which it wishes to encourage civil societies in Serbia to apply their projects which will be aimed at the improvement of intergenerational cooperation, spending time and mutual support of the old and the young in local communities throughout Serbia.  By supporting civil societies’ projects which are aimed at cultural and social revival of local communities through the exchange of experiences, skills and crafts, National Lottery of Serbia wishes to encourage intergenerational cooperation, solidarity and volunteer spirit, which are parts of Serbian culture and tradition.

Civil societies from entire Serbia which work on the local community level may apply for the competition.  The maximum grant amount for one project is 400.000 dinars.  The competition is open until August, 22nd 2011.  More information on competition conditions, as well as the application forms may be found on the website of National Lottery of Serbia (www.lutrija.rs) and BCIF.

Promotion of the competition for civil societies from Kragujevac and surrounding towns will be held on Tuesday, July 5th 2011 at 03:30 PM at Italija restaurant, Crveni krst, 7, Svetozara Markovića Street, Kragujevac.
You may apply one representative of your civil society, and confirm you participation at: office@bcif.org, until Friday, July 1st 2011 at the latest.

The competition is being administered by Balkan Community Initiatives Fund (BCIF), which has been implementing various grant programs since 1999.  Over 700 projects have been supported by BCIF so far, in the amount of over 3 million euros.

National Lottery of Serbia is implementing “Goodness” grant program, by following its strategic determination and dedication to society development, and especially support to the vulnerable groups.  Within this program, through various competitions, various projects in line with strategic goals of National Lottery of Serbia are being financed.  Thirteen grants in 12 local communities with the means in the amount of 6.341.306 dinars through three public competitions have been granted so far through “Goodness” program.
