Twelve Organizations Selected for the Participation in It Takes Two Training Program
In cooperation with The Skan Foundation and Cooperating Netherlands’ Foundation for Central and Eastern Europe (CNF CEE) from The Netherlands, BCIF has launched It takes two program in order to encourage civil society organizations to develop and implement Buddy projects in Serbia, as a form of social inclusion for the vulnerable groups, foremostly the children and the youth with disabilities.
Based on the project proposals received, the Selection Board has decided that the following organizations will participate in the training:
- Associationfor Cerebral Paralysis and Children’s Paralysis, Jagodina
- Riding club Kremen, Beograd
- Association for Help to Persons with Mental Disabilities, Trstenik
- Association for Help to Persons with Mental Disabilities, Novi Sad
- Association for Help to Persons with Mental Disabilities “Blue Bird”, Kula
- Association for Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities, Temerin
- Let’s Live Together, Beograd
- Association for Support of Persons with Autism of the City of Novi Sad, Novi Sad
- Initiative for Inclusion VelikiMali, Pančevo
- Volunteer Center, Niš
- Educational Center, Kruševac
- Serbian Association for Promoting Inclusion, Belgrade
All the selected organizations will be provided with the training, which will be led by Dutch experts. Apart from the training in the implementation of Buddy project, the training also has the goal to encourage the cooperation between the organizations from various Serbian regions. After the training and project development, 10 civil society organizations will be selected, and they will receive financial support in the amount of up to 9.500,00 euros for the imp lementation of their projects.
