„Cabaret Spontana“ and Juggling Workshops in Kraljevo

The members of Positive Youth from Kraljevo have provided their contemporaries and fellow citizens with extraordinary experience and entertainment within Centrifuga 2011 program.

Thanks to “Cabaret Spontana”, it was very fun in front of Ribnica Cultural center on July, 16th.
 
By using contemporary juggling and circus skills, dance and gags, their members have sent environment-inspired messages and have, fore mostly, encouraged the young to activate themselves in environment protection actions.  The members of Alternative Cabaret “Cirkusphere” from Belgrade have helped in the making of this event.  They have organized juggling, dance and acting workshops on the premises of RibnicaCultural center during the three days before “Cabaret Spontana”.  About 30 young citizens of Kraljevo, aged 7 to 30 have attended those workshops.  The four bravest workshop participants have staged a performance in the center of Kraljevo, by which they showed acquired skills and announced “Cabaret Spontana” at the same time.

A great number of citizens and media have attended the cabaret, while the entire action received very positive reviews in the local community.  A documentary film screening and a concert, as well as a local rock band festival were planned within the same project.

Positive Youth from Kraljevo is one of the eight youth groups whose projects had been supported within Centrifuga 2011 program, which is being implemented by ERSTE Bank and Balkan Community Initiatives Fund (BCIF).
