With the sounds of the anthem of “Our Vision of the Urban Future” project, Eco Voice group started their activities within Centrifuga 2011 program in Aqua park of Jagodina. On August 12th, which is International Youth Day, the members of the group distributed action’s promo material and condoms to their contemporaries. The young people of Jagodina were informed about the possibilities for participating in certain activities within the project, such as graffiti painting, painting, dance, singing, hip hop and art photography.
During the upcoming period the members of Eco Voice are continuing with public project promotions, by both street performances and local media appearances. The goal is to encourage as many young people as possible to participate and contribute to a great Our Vision of the Urban Future festival, which will be held in the center of Jagodina.
The project anthem has been recorded with a goal to promote the festival and to animate the young to get involved in cultural events in the city which are organized by Eco Voice group. The anthem is entitled Life is Beautiful, which has become a very famous melody in Jagodina and its surroundings.
Our Vision of the Urban Future project is one of the eight supported projects of cultural decentralization within Centrifuga 2011 program, which is being implemented byERSTE Bank and Balkan Community Initiatives Fund(BCIF).
