Green Initiative is Starting a Campaign on Primary Waste Selection and Recycling

On Tuesday, September 6th at 11 AM, Green Initiative will announce the start of their activities in the pleasant surroundings of “Jevremovac” botanical garden.

In cooperation with Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC), and with financial support from United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Green Initiative will realize numerous mutual activities in the following 16 months, which will be aimed at encouraging primary waste selection on the local and national level, and increasing participation of all the relevant actors in the field of collecting recycling material.

Susan Fritz, Mission Director of the USAID Mission to Serbia, Oliver Dulić, Minister of Environment, Mining and Spatial Planning, Albert Cevallos, Head of ISC Mission to Serbia and Vladimir Radojičić, in the name of Green Initiative’s Secretariat will speak at the media conference, by which Green Initiative will announce the start of mutual activities.
On that occasion the Memorandum on the Realization of Mutual Activities between the members of Green Initiative will be signed.  The Memo defines the basic principles of mutual activities during project realization.

Green Initiative firmly believes that the mutual impact of civil society organizations, and their cooperation with the institutions in charge and other actors in the society, opens up the perspectives for the Serbian society to become a modern society which will continually change and improve the realm of environment.
