The First Competition for Submitting Project Proposals for “We Are On-line!” Program is Now Open

Balkan Community Initiative Fund’s (BCIF) competition for “We are on-line!” program is in progress.

Local civil societies which work on youth issues, and in which the majority of members belong to the 15-30 age group, youth groups which work under registered civil societies, but have independent activities compared with the organization whose part they are, and informal youth groups may apply for “We are on-line!” program with the maximum budget amount of up to 200.000,00 dinars.

The initiatives should refer to the use of new media, social networks and information technologies for encouraging youth activism and participation, concentrating on important local problems and topics, finding suitable solutions and encouraging the people to actively participate in their implementation.
 
The basic goal of “We are on-line!” program is empowering young people to use new media, social networks and information technologies as the means to encourage activism among their generation and in their community, and to increase the active participation of the young in social changes.

The deadline for submitting project proposals is
October 29th 2011
