Ready for Successful Fundraising

After the completion of the three training modules and the fundraising plans, seven organizations were selected within Successful Fundraising program.  The organizations will receive the means for technical support in the amount of 1.250 dollars.  The means will enable them to prepare for the fundraising process itself.

Fundraising plans encompassed description of the activity for the realization of which the organizations wish to fundraise, and elaboration of the concrete fundraising methods and techniques.  Seven organizations whose plans were rated as the best are Youth Initiatives of Kikinda (Kikinda), SOS Women’s Centre (Novi Sad), CK13 Youth Center (Novi Sad), Association for Support of Children in Out-of-Family Upbringing FICE (Belgrade), Proactive (Niš), Moravski orasak (Trstenik) and Association for Help to Persons with Mental Disabilities (Novi Pazar).

After the fundraising process, BCIF additionally awards the second grant, which is equal to the amount of the means raised up to the maximum amount of 5.000 dollars.

Balkan Community Initiatives Fund (BCIF) is implementing Successful fundraising program, within The Civil Society Advocacy Initiatives program, in partnership with Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC), and with financial support from United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
