Fundraising from Local Sources - Cobra Group

Cobra Group from the villages Donja Toponica and Donja Trnava has successfully completed fundraising for the opening of an Internet center in their community.  With support from BCIF and VIA Foundation, and within Fundraising from Local Sources program, The Cobras have implemented Be a Part of the Network project.  By opening the Internet center, Be a Part of the Network project has been officially concluded in a very successful manner.  What remains is to implement trainings in computer skills, especially in the field of using Internet and writing CVs for the people of all ages who haven’t had a chance to get acquainted with the new technologies, or who simply wish to learn more.

The Cobras have managed to fundraise 323.075,00 dinars in their local community, mainly by door-to-door fundraising and by organizing fundraising events.  According to the program regulations, The Cobras received a grant from BCIF in the amount of the means raised in the local community, namely the maximum grant in the amount of 3000 euros.  The Cobras had exceptional support by the citizens in the local community, who recognize the role of the organization in revitalizing everyday life in Donja Toponica and Donja Trnava.
