Twelve Projects Recommended within Social Transition Program

Within October round of competition for Social Transition program, Balkan Community Initiatives Fund’s Donation Boardhas decided to recommend to Cooperating Netherlands’ Foundation for Central and Eastern Europe (CNF CEE) the projects of the following twelve organizations:

  • War Trauma Center, Novi Sad;
  • Asylum Protection Center, Belgrade;
  • The Association for Cerebral Palsy and Infatile Paralisys, Ivanjica;
  • Labris – Organization for Lesbian Human Rights, Belgrade;
  • Safe Pulse of Youth - SPY, Belgrade;
  • Roma Association Novi Bečej, Novi Bečej;
  • Association for Support to Persons with Developmental Disorders“Our House”, Belgrade;
  • The Optimist, Bosilegrad;
  • Association for Local Development Kamenica, Niš;
  • Red Line Center, Novi Sad;
  • Association of Citizens „Group IDE”, Belgrade
  • Association of Citizens “Together Together”, Belgrade.

The recommended projects amount to the total of174.654 euros.
The procedure during which CNF CEE will reach the final decision on financial support to the projects recommended by BCIF is in progress.

By donating grants in the maximum amount of up to 15.000 euros (paid in dinars), the goal of the program is to support the process of transition of the social security system, by providing the means to local, non-government and non-for-profit organizations which work on the social issues in a proactive and creative way.
