3,500.000 Dinars for 12 Projects within Green List of Serbia Program
Balkan Community Initiatives Fund has awarded grants within Green List of Serbia program for the realization of the new eco campaign Oplaneti se! Do recycle.
Donation Board has decided to support twelve organizations, which are members of Green List of Serbia eco network, in the total amount of 3,407,470.00 dinars.
The following civil societies have received support for the realization of their projects:
- Centre for Sustainable Future „Green zone“ from Knjaževac, in the amount of 284.000 dinars,
- “Young Researchers Society” from Bor, in the amount of 283.570 dinars,
- Society for Environment Protection “Stara planina“ from Pirot, in the amount of 283.900 dinars,
- Eco Club „Green Road Signs“ from Raška, in the amount of 284.000 dinars,
- Eco Movement “White Birch” from Kruševac, in the amount of 284.000 dinars,
- Eco movement „Moravski orašak“ from Trstenik, in the amount of 284.000 dinars,
- “GM Optimist” from Gornji Milanovac, in the amount of 284.000 dinars,
- Scout Squad “Josif Pančić” from Niš, in the amount of 284.000 dinars,
- Scout squad „The Homeland 1093“ from Vranje, in the amount of 284.000 dinars,
- Civil Society “Environment Protection Engineers“ from Novi Sad, in the amount of 284.000 dinars,
- Civil Society “Porečje” from Vučje, in the amount of 284.000 dinars,
- Civil Society “The Green Circle” from Bački Petrovac, in the amount of 284.000 dinars.
Green List of Serbia is the network of local non-governmental organizations, which work in the field of environment protection. The goal of the new eco campaign Oplaneti se! Do recycle, which is being realized by Green List of Serbia in cooperation with The Green Initiative eco network, is to maintain functional mechanisms for primary waste selection. It is expected that Green List of Serbia will collect over 8000kg of waste, and actively include at least 3000 citizens in activities in 12 communities in Serbia.
The first local action within Oplaneti se! Do recycle campaign will be realized on November 26th in Raška.
The program is being realized in partnership with Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC), with financial support from United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
