Grants Awarded within October Round of Active Communities

Within October round of decision making, Balkan Community Initiatives Fund has awarded grants to eight projects through Active Communities program, in the total amount of2.510.365 dinars.

For the realization of their initiatives the support has been given to:

- Society “Zaplanje Should Stay Clean” from Gadžin Han, in the amount of 350.000 dinars,

- Ethno society “The Tradition” from Ćićevac, in the amount of 347.350 dinars,
- “Women Entrepreneurs Club” from Bački Petrovac, in the amount of 320.000 dinars,
- Mountaineering society “Oštra čuka” from Sokobanja, in the amount of 316.850 dinars,
- Extreme sports club “Ras” from Novi Pazar, in the amount of 321.890 dinars,
- Informal youth group web portal GradSubotica from Subotica, in the amount of 348.675 dinars,
- “Pharo drom” from Horgoš, in the amount of 350.000 dinars,
- “The Youth on Guard” from Loznica, in the amount of 155.600 dinars.

The program is being supported byRockefeller Brothers Fund,Charles Stewart Mott Foundation andCooperating Netherlands Foundations for Central and Eastern Europe.  
The following deadline for project applicati on isFebruary 13th 2012 until 5 PM.
