The First Part of the Training for We Are On-line! Program Held

The first part of the training for We are on-line! program was held from December 16th to December 18th in Belgrade.  Thirty representatives of fifteen youth civil societies and informal groups from the entire Serbia participated in the training.

During the training, the participants had a chance to present their project proposals and to find out more about online tools for activism, the elements of online campaign, guerilla activism and combining online and offline activities.

The training was led by Srećko Šekeljić and Nebojša Radović.

The second part of the training for We are on-line! program was scheduled for January 2012.

Balkan Community Initiatives Fund is realizing We are on-line! program in cooperation with Fund for an Open Society.

We are on-line! program was launched with an intention to empower the young to use the new media, social networks and information technologies as the means to encourage activism among their generation and in their community.  The goal of the program is to encourage the young people to activate themselves and to launch in a creative manner the solving of the problems which are important for them, to encourage them to get to know each other and to network, and to enable them to connect with the experts on the new media and information technologies in order to further develop their ideas and activities.
