Public Spaces (currently not active)

Through Public spaces – our spaces program we enable citizens to design public city spaces which are around them, and to choose their purpose as well as enliven the spaces with different activities. After mutual agreement between citizens and municipal authorities in the community in question about the rearrangement of a public space (square, park etc.), BCIF offers specialized help, followed by a donation for the rearrangement itself, as well for the programs which would be taking place there. By this program, along with the financial aid, BCIF promotes new ways for reconstructing the public spaces, in order to make them more beautiful and accustomed to the people who use them. This is conducted through partnership between citizens, local self government and private sector. Program has been conducted during 2007 and 2008, and is currently not active.
