Balkan Community Initiatives Fund is a domestic fund that supports people to take active part in improving the life in their respective communities. We believe that even small positive changes make a big difference. Therefore, by providing financial assistance and learning opportunities we are helping people who are trying to help themselves. As a matter of fact, we offer them an opportunity to access funds and gain knowledge that might alleviate the problem resolution in their communities. In the last couple of years, we supported more than 500 successful projects, in value more than 1.500,000 Euros, throughout Serbia.

Main Award for Contribution at the National Level

RDP B92 a.d. Belgrade Focus of broadcasting company B92 is directed towards socially vulnerable groups, education and citizens self awareness to health prevention and support activities of importance to environmental protection.

Food for all, Safe Houses, 77 women in 7 days, the action support the fight against breast cancer, Reciklaža nije blamaža (Recycling Is Not Shame) - some of the projects that have brought the results at the national level. These actions RDP B92 is started solving important social issues and made significant investments for the promotion and completion of projects.

The results of that are very concrete and visible, and the company's strategic approach can serve as an example to many.

     
     

Award for Contribution to the Local Community Where the Company Operates
Eurobank continuously conducts philanthropic activities and support implemented in the regions in which their offices are located. The company has emphasized by dedicated work in these communities, improving the environment, support the educational processes, improving the quality of health care and actively work on social inclusion of persons with disabilities through projects: Eurobank EFG scholarship, Eurobank EFG Parks, Eurobank EFG Health…

Company Infostud 3 operates in the areas of social and health care, education, promotion of employment, employer database, useful tips for writing resumes and job interviews, etc.. through its website. During the past year, Infostud 3 realized the following projects: The series of educational videos on the employment site youtube.com, Month of knowledge in the cities of Serbia, Mark path to work and internal Infostud company website.
     
     

Award for Support for the Most Innovative Project of the Year
Erste Bank ad Novi Sad for the project "Erste Reestetika kreativna tehnika (Erste Re aesthetics creative techniques)"

Erste Bank supports young Serbian designers - MIKSER EXPO 2009 - through the project ECO Erste Reestetika. It is a creative medium that is the motto of branded Indjija Cultural Center and is a sculpture made from recyclable materials. These sculptures remind us of the need to strengthen environmental awareness and raising issues of environmental protection.
     
     
Award for Long-term Partnership Between Business and Non-profit Sector

Societe Generale Banka Srbija a.d. Beograd - Cooperation with the Food Bank. For this partnership, Societe Generale Bank is motivated by identification and help in solving the serious problems of hunger and poverty in society, in order to create equal opportunities for all. At the same time, Bank recognized the need to draw attention to the social problems faced by the most vulnerable groups in Serbia.
Societe Generale is actively cooperating with the Bank of food in the last three years of volunteering by employees, and providing material and financial support.

Main Award for Contribution at the National Level

Company Telenor d.o.o. – As a company which strategically and wisely gives support to young talents through partnership with Petnica Science Center, projects such “Move your city” where nineteen cities in Serbia are decorated with wall paintings, the first in the region University center for students with disabilities, project “Social Club”.
     
     

Award for Contribution to the Local Community Where the Company Operates
U.S. Steel Serbia which stood up with continuous and committed work, improving quality of schools, buying computers and teaching equipment, improving quality of healthcare, assistance to children and most vulnerable members of society, giving scholarships, initiating cultural events in Smedrevo, Šabac and Kučevo.

Sto posto - A small enterprise which provides support at the local level in Velika Plana municipality and Belgrade. The areas in which they act are social and health care, education, religion and cultural affairs, and support to non profit organizations. Also, they have helped many times local amateur sport associations and individuals in need.

For the second consecutive time to Erste Bank a.d. Novi Sad for “EU Office” project. Through its EU Office, bank contributes to the promotion of European integration process and at the same time supports projects

Company Eurobank EFG Štedionica a.d. Beograd for successful cooperation with the Center for Development of Inclusive Society (CRID), building the first park in the region for children with disabilities, and redesigned branch offices according to “Design for All” concept

Again to RDP B92 a.d. for its coverage and broadcasting adds of various B92 campaigns such as fighting against domestic violence, prevention of breast cancer, safety in traffic, promotion of voluntary blood donations, etc.

The National Bank of Serbia for committed and inspiring work in this field, numerous socially responsible actions, school for savings, initiation of UN Global Compact in our country, and excellent example which gives to other banks on the market, making local banking sector one of the leaders in social responsibility and community giving.
