Novi Sad has been awarded for its remarkable contribution to the solving of important social issues, for its support to talented young people and cooperation with the marginalized groups. Erste bank is consistently implementing corporate philanthropy through the cooperation with civil society organizations. The programs such as Centrifuga – cultural decentralization through the contents for the youth, Club 27 – scholarships for talented young people, promotion and support to social inclusion, support to social entrepreneurship and mentor work were graded by VIRTUS jury as the all-encompassing and extremely necessary for the society.

During the past year the company has cooperated with the organization OSI Paraćin on the project Personal assistant,and with the organization Children’s Views in the form of the promotion of social entrepreneurship for the unemployed. It has supported the work of Cultural center Paraćin. Holcim company is engaged in a great number of projects for environmental protection.

The programs Energy Genius (energetic efficiency), Equal Opportunities for All (employing people with disabilities), employing people above the age of 50, support to Children’s home Kragujevac, support to the church and monasteries, support to the development of Pivara municipality are some of the activities which the company implements for the benefit of the community.

Telenor d.o.o. company has been awarded for long-term cooperation with UNICEF, especially within Enable program. The program is being realized in cooperation with Ministry of Health. The training in the field of health and social care has been provided for Roma health mediators within the program, in order to provide the more quality support and education to the Roma communities.

Food for Enclaves is a part of Food for All program, the action for the support to the most endangered citizens of Serbian enclaves in Kosovo, who live beneath the poverty line. The action is implemented through the collection and distribution of resources and food for the existing public kitchens which work under the auspices of Majka devet Jugovića organization.

In 2008 corporate volunteering program started. Today, Erste bank has Erste bank Volunteer Club. During the past year the volunteers have realized several important actions – volunteer action in Pančevo, arranging of the City garden in Sremski Karlovci, excursion for Roma children from Adice settlement, support to the students in entrepreneurship and the action Erste for Kraljevo.

The company donated building material for restoring the Daycare Center for Mentally Insufficiently Developed Persons in Trstenik, material for restoring of a facility belonging to the Addiction Rehabilitation Center “Reto Centar” on Avala, as well as material for renewing of Gradac monastery nearby Kraljevo.

Award for Support for the Most Innovative Project of the Year |

Eurobank holds that inclusion of people with disabilities in every day life and work activities is one of the basic pillars of community support. In collaboration with non-profit organization Inclusive Society Development Center and EIDD, Eurobank organized a competition called “Moving Inclusive Museum” awarding 27 best student projects concerning original design of objects for every-day use which could make life easier for people with disabilities and their families.

According to the principle of environmental protection and in order to create an opportunity for its employees to participate in the project directly and to the extent they want, Ernst and Young has established collaboration with a non-governmental organization Young Researchers of Serbia. Given the fact of large number of protected natural areas in Serbia in which such a project can be implemented, following actions were taken - „Gradac 2009“ in river Gradac canyon near Valjevo, „Zelena Četvorka“ on Ada Huja in Belgrade, „Đavolja Varoš 2010“near Kuršumlija, „Zasavica 2010“ near Sremska Mitrovica.

Radio Televizija Srbije (Serbia Broadcasting Corporation) is a broadcaster that continuously reports on transplantation medicine, the only medical field that cannot be developed and sustained without media support. RTS covers this topic primarily in its primetime news program Drugi Dnevnik, and to some less extent in its other shows and programs also. For the past year, a number of cadaverical surgeries as well as a number of donor cards in Serbia has been significantly increased. RTS also initiated a national campaign called “Increase Your Lifetime”.

RDP B92 a.d. Belgrade Focus of broadcasting company B92 is directed towards socially vulnerable groups, education and citizens self awareness to health prevention and support activities of importance to environmental protection.
Food for all, Safe Houses, 77 women in 7 days, the action support the fight against breast cancer, Reciklaža nije blamaža (Recycling Is Not Shame) - some of the projects that have brought the results at the national level. These actions RDP B92 is started solving important social issues and made significant investments for the promotion and completion of projects.
The results of that are very concrete and visible, and the company's strategic approach can serve as an example to many.

Erste Bank ad Novi Sad for the project "Erste Reestetika kreativna tehnika (Erste Re aesthetics creative techniques)"
Erste Bank supports young Serbian designers - MIKSER EXPO 2009 - through the project ECO Erste Reestetika. It is a creative medium that is the motto of branded Indjija Cultural Center and is a sculpture made from recyclable materials. These sculptures remind us of the need to strengthen environmental awareness and raising issues of environmental protection.

At the same time, Bank recognized the need to draw attention to the social problems faced by the most vulnerable groups in Serbia.
Societe Generale is actively cooperating with the Bank of food in the last three years of volunteering by employees, and providing material and financial support.
